The story of a Russian club whose stadium was next to Moscow's White House, where tanks drove through its field during the military coup of 1993. Asmaral was coached by the legendary Soviet coach Beskov, and after two seasons in the Premier League, it disappeared forever. There is almost nothing left — no stadium, no films, no books, no fans, no museum, no website. This is symbolic of the early 90s, when it was possible to become a millionaire in a day and lose everything in a flash. This film helps to understand why Russia is the way it is and why all the political hopes of the 90s were doomed. This unique football club encapsulates the fate of the country and its time.
